Kellie Martin. Martin, a native of the United States is an American TV and film actress. Her most well-known role is for playing Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. Her other notable roles include playing the title role in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin started her acting career at the age of was seven years old. She was a niece of her aunt who was the nanny for Michael Landon's children helped her land a small role on the television series Father Murphy. When she completed her studies at Yale University in 1982, Martin decided to pursue her acting career more than just a hobby. Her roles were significant in television and the big screen. Martin was also as a dancer and photographer. Her sister, who died from Lupus at the age of 19, inspired her to become the Lupus National spokesperson.
