She became famous after wedding to Kordell Steward at a lavish wedding ceremony that was shown on the TV program 'Platinum Weddings. In 2013, the couple separated. Williams appeared in the fifth season The Real Housewives of Atlanta as a reality-TV show. She was also part of the reality series "The Famous Apprentice" (now named The New Celebrity Apprentice). Aside from her role as a TV personality and actress her talent is also a singer. She launched a single 'Flatline' in 2014. Also, she has modeled for calendars along with music videos and other promotional material. Presently, Williams can be seen co-hosting the show "Dish Nation'.
